Description:
The AASF hangar at Whiteman Air Force Base, constructed by Burns and McDonald, provides the Missouri Army National Guard with direct maintenance and operation support for a new battalion of AH-64 attack aircraft in approximately 40,300 square feet. Large enough to fully enclose eight aircraft with required work clearances, the hangar bay is accessible through 20-foot-tall Norco horizontal sliding hangar doors approximately 60 feet wide, providing a single leaf for each bay.
