When you think of Norco, you think of custom hangar doors. However, there is a lot more to the process in order to create a custom sliding door that meets the needs of your building. What does a universal door system include, can they be customized, and what types of coverings can be used are just a few things that we are regularly asked. Below we will answer some of our most frequently asked questions.
What does a Norco Universal Door System include? When you order a door from Norco, you will receive everything needed for a complete and successful installation. Unlike many of our competitors, we coordinate and supply all materials; from the upper guide rail system, including the upper guide beams, soffit closure plates, track brackets, and "tee" clips, to the bottom rail system, including the rails, leveling angles, nuts, and anchor bolts. Norco also supplies top-of-the-line neoprene seals for each door panel, as well as a complete electrical operating system.
What type of covering can be used on the door? Norco doors are extremely versatile and can be covered on both sides with a variety of materials, ranging from rib panels, foam panels, flat sheeting, plywood, or even solar plastics. Norco doors can accommodate a 1-1/2" thick interior and exterior metal wall panel. Thicker panels can be used for special applications. Norco can also recommend various insulation options to meet your energy efficiency needs to help save you money on heating and cooling costs.
Can you put personnel doors & windows into the doors? The short answer is yes. With the flexible technology that is utilized, we have ensured that we can provide an unlimited amount of door and window configurations into the door panels. This increases our ability to meet all of our customers' personal door system needs.
