Floating Door Systems

The Floating Door System from Norco offers the ultimate in building design and usage flexibility. Because every door panel can travel the full length of the opening, panels can be stacked anywhere along the rails. Since there is no pre-defined stacking site, no floor space is lost to door pockets. This allows for a larger opening as the doors can occupy the full width of the building, or the space on either side of the door to be used for other purposes.

The panels can be individually powered or can operate as a group, allowing you the flexibility to open the door as much or as little as you need. For example, you can choose to open the door halfway, 1/3, 1/4, or even 2/5, you can do so with our Floating door panels. As with all Norco door systems, the Floating Door System can be customized to your specifications, including the number of panels, height of the doors, personnel entry doors, aperture doors for large aircraft, and more. Our Floating Door System is also durable and can be designed to withstand high gusts of wind and other natural elements.
