For a private hangar located in a challenging environment, Norco Manufacturing supplied a custom Floating Door System  designed to provide security and protection against severe mountain weather. This impressive installation accommodates a 290' x 23' opening and features a six-leaf configuration that offers exceptional operational flexibility. Each door panel in the floating system can travel the full length of the rails and stack anywhere along the opening, allowing the hangar owners to maximize their usable space without the need for dedicated door pockets. This innovative design enables tailored entry points, permitting openings to be adjusted as needed for specific aircraft, while also ensuring a robust, weather-tight seal.
