Virgin Galactic is a leader in aerospace innovation and spaceflight development. To meet their high standards for efficiency and design at their advanced production facilities, they sought an appropriate hangar door solution. Norco Manufacturing supplied a specialized One-Way Door System for their hangars, offering significant architectural benefits by requiring a door pocket on only one side of the building. This design leaves the opposite side of the hangar entrance completely unobstructed, allowing for the integration of essential spaces such as offices, laboratories, and lounges. The system is engineered for reliability and features a single-motor design that utilizes a pickup bracket to seamlessly couple and stack the door leaves, resulting in a cost-effective and low-maintenance entry solution.
