For the expansive hangar, Norco Manufacturing delivered a custom-engineered Bi-Parting Door System designed to accommodate a massive 220' x 44' opening. Utilizing Norco’s signature bi-parting technology, the door panels slide smoothly from the center to the sides of the facility, providing an efficient and reliable entry solution for large-scale aviation operations. This configuration is especially advantageous in the challenging climate of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, as the bottom rails are fully protected from the elements when the doors are closed, preventing the accumulation of snow and ice that could disrupt operations.
