Norco engineered a highly customized and integrated door solution for this facility, featuring three specialized systems designed to optimize crane-operated truck loading and unloading. This innovative setup allows cranes to seamlessly extend from a covered loading dock directly into the building, enabling efficient transfer of exceptionally large and heavy products from truck to interior. This dramatically reduces handling time and significantly streamlines critical logistics.

Each system incorporates a hydraulically operated tilt door, electrically interlocked with a rolling door below for uncompromising safety and operational integrity. All control systems were meticulously designed and manufactured in Norco's UL-rated controls department, ensuring superior quality and reliability.

By collaborating closely with the client, Norco developed a precisely tailored door combination that not only solved their unique operational challenges but also delivered substantial improvements to their overall business processes.

  • Top tilt-up door with bottom rolling doors that split into two panels, one moving to the right and one moving to the left.
  • Tilt-Up Door: 60' Wide x 14' Tall

  • Assured compatibility by using the same door supplier for both door systems
  • Safety Feature: Tilt door is hydraulically operated and electrically interlocked with the Rolling Door System, so that doors cannot be opened independently from one another
  • For additional safety, electrical door interlock switch disables the drive door when personnel door is open
